Christian, you have worked long and hard with years of dedication from cubs scouts onto this rank of Eagle with enough merits badges for your first palm. The drive that you showed in your scouting career shows the tenacity you have to set a goal and achieve if over a long period of time. High School and College are just a blip on the radar when it comes to the time and effort that you have already given to this massive achievement. I challenge you to use the lessoned learned in scouting echoed in the scout oath and scout law, to set a longer goal for yourself in life. Set milestones on that journey to ensure that you are on the right path and a reminder that you are getting closer to that goal. When you achieved it, as I know you will, look back on your experiences and how you have grown from the day you obtained the Rank of Eagle. Reflect on your friends that supported you on your journey and give thanks and appreciation. As an Eagle you have entered into a brotherhood of an elite group of scouts that throughout your life, cannot be taken away. Through this achievement, you have learned a broad skillset that can provide you confidence in the face of adversity. Through the time spent in scouting, you have embodied what it is to be Trustworthy, Loyal, Helpful, Friendly, Courteous, Kind, Obedient, Cheerful, Thrifty, Brave, Clean, and Reverent. As an Eagle you can soar higher than others. Now Spread those wings and fly.

Thank you for taking me on your journey in scouts and the adventures we had through all the camps and activities. I will always reflect on these times as the best times of my life.
